Siddha Pokhari

This pond is located at Dudhpati, Bhaktpur. Situated near the Bhaktapur Hospital, this is the most visited pond in Bhaktapur. Is believe that this pond is built by a holy person so its named as Siddha (salvation in nepali). The beauty of this pond is its rectangular shape with surrounding walls with four gates at each side. Once a year during Dashain and during Indra Jatra, festivals of lights are celebrated here.

The pond has lots of fishes rared. Huge fishes of different colors like orange, white, yellow, grey are rared here.
