Kamal pokhari is located at kamalvinayak, north-east of Bhaktapur. This pond is named after its character of bearing the flowers lotus (kamal in nepali). These flowers are not available today due to the cleanliness purpose. 20 years back there used to be huge leaves of lotus covering the pond. During the lotus blossoming seasons the pond used to look very beautiful. Though without these flowers, the pond look beautiful even today.
The pond is near to the kamalvinayak buspark and Nagarkot buspark. So any traveler can easily visit here.
